One Medium Suitcase

A knife would probably be the most useful tool to carry. It can be used to cut, save your life, or even start a simple fire.

One pair of clothing for who know what. You never know whether you may need it for warmth. Or even for shade in a sunny place.

A bottle of water, you never know, that one bottle could save your life. Even after the water is gone, the bottle could still be used for something. Even to hold more water if you found it.

A big jar of nuts, to keep you alive. When you first arrive in a survival situation, you need something to hold you over. And if you don't have that, you'll probably die, really soon.

A deck of cards to keep me sane. After a long time of being lonely, it can make you crazy. A deck of cards me just keep you alive.

A flash light to see whenever you need it. Say your in the dark and need to start a fire but can't see where to find wood or your knife you just dropped. Your flashlight is there to save the day.

The Bible to continually read. You can't go without it in normal situation. So while leave it while your getting kidnapped.

Iodine is used for many, many things. You could use it to heal a wound if needed. Or even sanitize water that looks almost brow.

A small blanket could be used for many things. It could be used for warmth, shade, or even a fire starter.

A map/compass so you know a general idea where you are at all the time. A map/compass is probably one of the most important things to have. It could lead you on a path to safety and eventually save your life.

Yellow Star

Building my house was easily one of the greatest things I think I have ever done. There wasn't one thing easy about doing it. It took at least six years to complete the entire house. They main reason it took so long is because it was only my dad, grandpa, and me practically building the entire house. But in the end, It was extremely worth it. I learned more in that period of time, than I have in my entire life. It also helped me decided what I may want to do with my future.

Learning to play the drums is a pretty awesome experience. Not everyone can just pick up some sticks and beat on some circular thing and make it sound good and have some sense to it. So I'm pretty proud of that fact. I always had a knack for it. I just needed someone to help me fine tune my abilities. And eventually that person arrived. Now playing the drums is something I do every single day.

Getting first in community ball for five years straight is definitely something to be proud of. I am pretty sure we were the only team to ever do that. And to add on to it, we were undefeated for four out of those five years. Losing only one game that one year we didn't. Doing this made me a better player I would have to say.

Getting saved is probably the greatest thing to ever happen to me. Without this decision I made that day when I was 10, I probably wouldn't be the same person I am today. My life would be completely different. I wouldn't have met the people I know today. I just would be completely different. So that is why it is probably the greatest thing to happen to me.

Learning to drive a standard and getting my license isn't one of the best things ever, but it still is really awesome. It gives you a sense of freedom. It is a sign of you growing older. So it changed me in that sense I guess. Also, driving a standard is really awesome too. Not everyone can drive it so they can't take it somewhere without you knowing. And you can burn out easier, which is awesome!

Getting a job mowing and umpiring is a pretty big accomplishment in my life. It gave me a sense of responsibility. Helps me stay on track. It also helps me with the money situation. So I can buy me some stuff. Mainly gas though.

Doing community things with my church helped shape who I am today. It didn't really have to be anything big. Maybe just praying for someone. But even the little things like that made me who I am. It also helped who I was with. I was with people that I really cared about.

Going to the quarter finals game in basketball was a amazing experience. I got to play on a amazing college basketball court. Which was Drury college. It was also a amazing experience. All the fans there cheering and being really loud. It was just awesome. Even though we lost that game, it made me better. It just made me want to get to that game again next year. Hopefully even farther.

Playing the district championship game as a freshman in baseball isn't the most awesome thing ever, but it still is amazing. Not every freshman can say they started on varsity for baseball and made it to the district championship game. We also started six freshman last year. So doing this, it made me a better player. Even though we lost that game too, it made me want to go farther this year.

Being in the top ten in my class every year so far is pretty awesome. Staying in the top ten and playing sports year around isn't the easiest thing ever. So I say if you can do that, then your doing pretty well. Doing sports and school work year around isn't easy, but it helps me work harder. I get better from it.

Best: From best to least
1. Getting saved.
2. Building my house.
3. Learning to play the drums.
4. Doing community things with my church.
5. Getting to the quarterfinals game.
6. Getting to district finals game.
7. Learning to drive a standard and getting my license.
8. Getting a job mowing and umpiring.
9. Getting first in community ball five years straight.
10. Being top ten in my class.

Synetics

Which is wiser? A pen or pencil?
A pencil is obviously wiser. If you make a mistake (which could happened often) you can easily just erase and start over. If you had a pen and made a mistake, you would have to completely start over. And if you chose not to start over, you would have to scribble it out. That looks really bad.

Which is smarter? A clock or a calendar?
I am going to have to go with the clock on this one. Without the clock, it would be extremely hard to have the calendar. So I would have to say the clock is smarter.

What is more suspenseful? Rain or snow?
Snow is easily way more suspenseful than rain. Rain is basically like an everyday occurrence. So if its snowing it is way more scary cause no one wants to get caught in a bunch of snow. In movies, you always see love scenes with rain and what not. Although when you see snow it is usually scary or suspenseful.

Which is happier? Music or art?
Music is easily one of the happiest things ever. Everyone always talks about how music relaxes them. So music is probably happier. Now I'm not saying art isn't happy. It is just that not everyone can do it. It is much easier to listen to music. So it is happier.

Which is more fearful? New or old?
I am going to have to say that new is more fearful. No one really worries about what happened in the past. Well at least they shouldn't. But no one really knows what is to come. So the new is more fearful because you don't know what is coming.

Which is more useful? A friend or an enemy?
A friend is way more useful than a enemy. A friend is someone you can trust. So you can have them help you with anything because they are probably more willing. While an enemy only wants to hurt you.

Which is braver? An hour or a year?
A year is going to have to be braver for me. If you want to commit to something, it should be long lasting. It is going to take some work. While an hour isn't very long. So you have to be braver for a year rather than one hour.

Which is easier to close? A map or a road?
I would have to say a road is easier to close. A road only leads to one destination, most of the time. While if you closed a map, all sources have been eliminated. So you no longer have something to go off of.

Which has more pride? An entrance or an exit?
I would have to say that a exit has more pride. Once your gone, it leaves more of an impression. It shows all that you have done. It almost leaves sort of a legend. While an entrance doesn't take as much pride. It doesn't show as much.

Which costs more? A home or a house?
A home easily costs more than a house. A house only includes the house. That is all that you have to pay for. While a home includes all the stuff in it along with the house itself. You have to pay for the furniture, clothing, providing for the family, etc.

Valuble Lessons

1. Turning around at a intersection, not in the middle of the road- I learned this the hard way. I went the wrong way and needed to turn around. So instead of waiting for the nearest intersection, I decided to turn around in the middle of the road. In the end, got stuck in a ditch.

2. Listening in class- Mr. French's class taught me to actually listen when a teacher is lecturing. If you don't listen in his class. You will learn very quickly that you must. It will bring you to your knees.

3. Never put things in your coat pocket while running- I have done this many, many times. And many, many times I have either broken or lost something. Do not run while things are in your coat pocket! You will break things! Like your phone or even your retainer.

4. Trust your close friends- Even though they may be extremely dumb or weird, they know you pretty well. You may even think they need a lot of mental help, but they know what your doing. So if they say that your being dumb, then your probably being dumb.

5. Go with the flow- Hey, if the shoe fits then wear it. Don't constantly get down in the dumps. Be positive, you never how you could help someone else's day. Just relax and do whatever you think is right.

6. Spend time with your family- Never take for granted the time you have with your family. Especially your grandparents, they're closer to being gone than anyone else in your family. So if you have a chance to be with them, take it.

7. Don't ever get to frustrated- Especially in a sport. If you think negative and continually bring yourself down, most likely bad things will continue to happen. So stay positive, it will eventually get better.

8. Continuously eat food- Always, always eat food. Without you will probably die. So if there is a tasty snack on the counter, take it and eat it with some passion. Even if it was set out for your parents.

9. Always bring Duct Tape with you- you never ever know when you'll get in a sticky situation (no pun intended). And most likely Duct Tape can fix it. You may want to play some four-square and have no lines, so Duct Tape to the rescue.

10. Never freak- If something dumb happened, it probably will help you in the end. So think positive and in the end it will help you out.
